BUMBLE HIGHLIGHTS FEATURES THAT INDIAN USERS LOVE MOST

Social network prioritizes creating a comfortable, secure platform for women in India to confidently make connections

Bumble, the leading social network by women, for everyone, recently launched in India with a mission to give women an empowered and secure way to connect online. Bumble’s in-app features help its users in India, especially women, feel confident and secure while using the platform.

The features span across the free app, which offers three different modes (Bumble Bizz, Bumble BFF, and Bumble Date) for professional networking, friend-finding, and dating respectively. Bumble is a space where real people come to make real connections.

The features that Bumble’s Indian users love most are:
·  Women Make The First Move – When men and women connect in Bumble Date or Bumble Bizz mode, only women can initiate the conversation. This feature also safeguards users from unwanted creepy messages or spammers.

·  Matches Expire After 24hrs – Once connected, women have 24 hours to start the conversation, allowing them to move at their own pace (If you run out of time, use the daily extend to get more time to connect with the person who caught your eye!)

· Photo Verification – Fake profiles? Not on Bumble. Verify your profile in your settings so that your matches know you’re real. A blue check mark shows that your profile has been verified!

· Hide Your First Name – Use your initial instead! Women on Bumble no longer have to tolerate unwanted “friend” requests or follows on other platforms from people you haven’t met. You’re in control of your identity on Bumble. Make the first move and decide when you’re ready to reveal your name.

· Hide Your Profile – You decide who sees your Bumble profile. If you encounter someone you want to hide your profile from, scroll to the bottom of their profile, select “Block and Report” and choose “I don’t want them to see me.”

· Block, Report And Unmatch – Don’t tolerate rude, unkind or inappropriate behaviour. If you find it offensive, report it and our support team will block it. There’s a prompt and easy option at the bottom of their profile.

Global icon, philanthropist and entrepreneur Priyanka Chopra Jonas helped bring Bumble to India as both partner and investor in the company, alongside Bumble Founder and CEO, Whitney Wolfe Herd.

Bumble also has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, hate speech and misogyny on its platform and will ban users who don’t follow these guidelines.

The company recently celebrated that women in India have made the first move over 2 million times on Bumble. The app has over 55 million users worldwide in 150 countries.

The Bumble app is available in both “Hinglish” and Hindi for iOS and Android. The app is free and available to download in the App Store and Google Play.
