MWC 2017 - Huawei Launched Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic









Huawei launched its latest Smart watches in two different variants Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic. Both these Smart watches are good looking, features packed and real smart  that comes with a little bit of difference. Out of which the  Huawei Watch 2 comes with LTE  network support.  But the Watch 2 Classic is having no support to LTE network.




Huawei’s Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic are running Google’s latest  Android Wear 2.0. The Android Wear 2.0 OS has the more customiztion advange to customize Watch faces - ability to install standalone applicationas and tons of asthetic improvement. These Smart Watches comes with a circular display design. Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic Both are having equal size of 1.2 inches with 390 x 390 resolution. Both of these models are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear 2100 Processor.  Huawei Watch 2 is the Sportier model that comes with the Silicone Straps and on the other hand Huawei Watch 2 Classic has a bit more stylish looks with a stainless steel bezel and leather straps.  It also having many different color variants for its replaceable straps.





Both these devices packed with a long battery life. On power section 420mAh of battery is given in both of these Smart Watches. According to the Huawei the Watch 2 that has 4G capability that lasts around 2 days on a single charge and  the Classic will lasts upto 3 days. But If you’re using these devices with the GPS and heart rate sensors turned on then the expected time of its battery backup will lasts upto 11 hours approx. If you are using these smart watches without workout mode means just as a watch, you can expect 26 days long battery backup on just a single charge.




As well as Android Wear 2.0, both these smart watches also have on board Google Assistant and Android Pay feature support. The Google Assistant helps users to set calendar reminders, to make restaurant reservations, to add things to their shopping lists and to control house hold connected devices. Android Wear 2.0 has a new feature support for mobile payments via Android Pay. Both these devices  Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic have NFC chipset inbuilt that helps users to use these devices with Android Pay. A built-in GPS and heart rate sensor is also given in both models to get more accurate running stats as well as you can also use Google Maps on the watch without having your phone nearby for real-time run mapping.



For Water and dust resistance an IP68 rating is also given in both of these models that means you need not worry while swimming or playing without taking them off first. Some other features given in both these devices dynamic heart rate monitoring – real-time heart rate zone information and zone indicators – heart rate warnings lap reminder and speed statistics etc. You also can send texts and take calls with the help of Watch 2 without having your Smartphone nearby. Both of these devices have a very less on-board storage space of 2GB to store applications installed from the Play Store.
